Patchwork Rattlebag are releasing "Vertigo Dreams", the second single from their forthcoming album Fragments 1. The track, a follow up to the electronic "Hook, Line and Riser", is built on breezy acoustic textures, introspective lyrics and bursts of vocal harmony.

The song searches tensions: between contentment and insecurity, aspiration and wistful acquiescence, dreams and nightmares. Its swirling, psychedelic, folk-inspired atmospheres feature picked acoustic guitar, pulsing vibraphone, and broken electric guitar phrases. "Vertigo Dreams" is the sound of Patchwork Rattlebag stripped back to its singer-songwriter origins.

Patchwork Rattlebag are an experimental collective from the North West of England. Formed in Salford, the group creates psychedelic music that crosses genre boundaries. Frequently incorporating other artforms, the group constructs music with a strong vocal presence, featuring instruments, synthesisers, field recordings and beats. Consisting of three core members who value collaboration and curiosity, Patchwork Rattlebag traverse the spaces between the visual, audible, invisible and ineffable.
