VaB (Victor Abbey Blessed) is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer signed to Chrome Entertainment. His sound fuses high-energy Afrobeats percussion with raw, vulnerable R&B storytelling and gospel-rooted harmonic structures -- capturing the duality of real-life struggle and celebration.
VaB built his musical foundation within the church walls of Port Harcourt, mastering keyboard and drums at a young age and developing a strong harmonic sensibility. While pursuing a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering at the University of Port Harcourt, he refined his identity as an independent producer, songwriter, and performing artist -- a duality between engineer and artist that continues to define his creative process.
VaB blends Nigerian Pidgin pop-culture metaphors with emotional storytelling to create a distinctive voice within Afrobeats, drawing on influences including Fela, Mali Music, Timaya, and Wizkid.
