Andreas Aleman - Little Human

Release 2025/05/09
Swedish Soul and Funk Artist Andreas Aleman Releases Deeply Intimate Track "Little Human"!
- "It's not always visible on the outside how someone feels on the inside." -

Earlier this year, Andreas spent time in Nashville and LA, writing music with legends such as Sharon Vaughn (Agnes, September, BoyZone, Willie Nelson) as well as performing at the iconic Bluebird Café. In LA, Andreas opened MuseExpo, one of the world's largest music industry expos, to standing ovations.

For those who's ever had the privilege of watching Andreas Aleman preform live, he is known for having one of Sweden's most powerful and gripping soul voices. Although, he is an artist who despite a longstanding and esteemed career in the music industry has remained somewhat unknown for many. Through the years, Andres has released four albums and numerous standalone singles of original music, as well as toured extensively both within Sweden and internationally across Europe. He has repeatedly sold out the iconic soul and funk venue Fasching in Stockholm, and he was also part of the founding members of the acclaimed group Tensta Gospel Choir back in 1996. Despite these successes, Andreas has kept a relatively low profile up until now, when Andreas is finally stepping into the spotlight to share his story.

Throughout his life, Andreas has struggled with low self-esteem, mental health issues, and a sense of inadequacy due to a challenging childhood. Much of his song writing, including the new track is rooted in his troubled past marked by a tough home environment, including emotional and physical abuse, and oppression from his father who suffered from severe alcoholism.

The new track "Little Human", is a deeply personal narrative and a letter to Andreas himself as a young child. The song reflects how we often feel small, fragile, and insufficient - thinking we aren't good enough, even though we hold great potential. It serves as a counter-response to these harmful thoughts and is intended as a comforting embrace for anyone struggling with their self-image, self-esteem, and confidence; for all those grappling with mental health challenges.

Talking about the new track, Andreas says: "The lyrics reflect the struggles I've faced and that I think most people can relate to. It's a tribute to our humanity - that we are amazing just the way we are; strong and capable."

"The song has a weight and depth, while also bringing warmth and hope. It's incredibly meaningful and personal to me. We all need to try and be kind to ourselves and each other."
