Jolene Khor is an award-winning, narrative-driven orchestral composer, orchestrator, arranger, conductor, and pianist from Malaysia, celebrated for music that balances whimsy with elegance. Her work combines playful, character-led melodies with sophisticated orchestral craft.

She builds her scores from the narrative outward, shaping every theme around character, worldbuilding, and emotional arc. Her music becomes part of how audiences remember a world, not merely the soundtrack that accompanies it. She is currently composing for HighRollers DnD, Nomnivores Games, Theatre of the Unaligned Hatched Games, and LaLionne Publishing, as well as TTRPG podcasts including The Writer's Room 7th Sea, DistalsPlace, and The Storyteller Squad, alongside an audiobook project for Lemon Mouse Press. She is also a recipient of the PRS Foundation and Amazon MGM Prelude program 2026.

Beyond games and interactive media, Jolene's catalogue includes orchestral, chamber, and solo concert works. Notable projects include A Dream Land of ShaYuan, for which she served as composer, arranger, and orchestrator on a commission from Taiwanese composer Hung Yuean Chung. Her chamber music includes Dawn of Winter, a trio for euphonium, tuba, and piano performed at the University of Northern Iowa's Amplify Inclusivity recital, and Prince of the Forest, a string quartet performed by the Morassi String Quartet as part of Strings for Ukraine. In 2021, her piano work Dance of the Kitsune was featured in Tchaikovsky: 180 Seasons Later, with performances at both the Russian Embassy in London and the Royal College of Music. She has also contributed orchestration and arrangements to major productions, including Taiwan's NSO Our Lives in Song concert.

As a conductor, Jolene led the Queen Charlotte Orchestra for Netflix's promotional concert at Covent Garden on 13 May 2023. As a pianist, she has performed at the House of Commons and recorded for artists including Sonia Elisheva, Sejel Bodereau, Kathy Muir, and Andrea Dee.

Jolene is also a founding co-host of the Composers in a Jukebox podcast, where she explores the craft of composition with leading figures from across the industry, including Eric Whitacre, Nicholas Hooper, Borislav Slavov, Alistair Kerley, Inon Zur, Jan Valta, Matt Dunkley, Christopher Tin, Morgan Kibby, Mike Ladouceur, Matthew Slater, Christina Liang, and Lindsay Jones.
